November 2004:Webmaster Update: Oh my gosh, The Office Staff namely my wife, has been messing with this site. She has decided to decorate not only our home, but the band's website as well. So please allow a little more time for the seasonal animations to load..Anyway, hope you all like it..It's beginning to look alot like Christmas around here, even tho it is only Thanksgiving, and as "Cool" would say, Have a Safe one! meZmer Band Announcement: It looks like the Holiday Seasons are upon us once again. We here at mezmerband.com Wish You and Yours A Very Happy and Safe Holiday Season!! New Additions To Site: Some of the pictures taken October 2, 2004 at the Wedding Reception of Rick Wasson and Brenda Barnes, held on the banks of the Mississippi River outside of Hannibal, Mo. have been added. October 2004:Webmaster Update: Despite the funeral of Charles "Dub" Foreman, Dikki, Jimmie, Joe, Brice, and David took the show to the Mississippi River for a Wedding Reception and weekend of camping. Brrrrrrrrrr! On Friday night there was a hard rain storm followed by a cold wind storm. To the delight of all the band members, Bridal Couple and all of those that attended, the Wedding Day turned out perfect. The show went on, even though it turned into another chilly night of playing music, camping,and the enjoyment of being with our families, and our extended family of the Bridal Couple. On Sunday, we all enjoyed a boat ride on the river, and for Brice, it was his first ride in a boat. Congratulations go out to Rick and Brenda Wasson, along with a Very Special Thanks to Ronnie and Carol Barnes, who opened their river front cabin to the band members and their families. Thanks Again, Ronnie and Carol!! Webmaster Announcement: The September Fall Jam Fest was a success, even though it was a chilly night, and a touch of rain in the air. We did have minor PA problems, and once they were solved, the show went on in traditional meZmer fashion. Webmaster Announcement: Hey now you meZmer Fans, Stand up and clap your hands!! We are back to updating..Sorry for the delays..We have had alot going on. As most of you know, Jimmie's brother, "Dub" passed away, and a few other personal things with all the meZmer members, but here is the latest of what is going on. September 2004:Fall Jam Fest Announcement: The Second Annual Fall Jam Fest will be held September 18 starting at 7 pm. The show will include, Rock 'N Roll Music From the Past and Present. Featuring meZmer members Dikki Barnes, Jimmie Foreman, with Joe O'Connor, Brice Windsor, and David Donahue. The Jam Festival will be held at the David Lierheimer Farm. Admission is $5.00 per person, B.Y.O.B. Bring your own lawn chairs. For directions click here. August 2004:News Update: Now for those of you who missed this blast, why not come and party with us September 18 at the Second Annual Fall Jam Festival.. Details coming soon!! Webmaster Announcement: We had a farewell blast at IC Billiards for Charlie Stidham, former owner, and welcomed new owner Charlie Angle. We sure had fun at the Farewell Blast..Quite a turn out we had. Dikki did a super job on a rare and impromptu drum solo in Wipeout, Jimmy sang his lungs out along with some of the fancy foot steps he is known for, and Joe, Brice, and David got down on Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Freebird". The music sounded good and got good reviews from the people who attended.. July 2004:Webmaster Announcement: Okay, we jammed at IC Billiards in Centralia, Mo. and had a very good response. The place sold out of Bud Light Beer. Jimmie and I both agree that these young musicians have come a long way in a short time. We have been so busy here,behind the scenes at Mezmerband.com that we?ve barely had time to take a breath! We have done quite a bit in preparation to revamp
and update the site,
Over the past couple of months I have been hinting around about some things that we had in the works for meZmer and Mezmerband.com; well, I'm about to fill you in on some of those things! We are now in the process of trying to procure more hosting space here at Mezmerband.com, In doing so, we will benefit by having more storage and bandwidth for content such as MP3's and Song Samples which you will be able to download along with being able to Archive all past and future meZmer Shows here at Mezmerband.com as some of you may have noticed we had to remove pictures from the 2001 shows to make room for the 2003 show pictures along with hosting pictures on some of our satelite sites. News Update: Still Alive.... Mezmer and it's members are still in the middle of a sabbatical of sorts. Is Mezmer dead you may ask? No, not really. We are in a bit of a coma for the time being but not dead Music is a big part of my DNA and when I don't make music, it haunts me There could be some Big Announcements Coming Soon and We'll keep you posted here. Our Congratulations go out to our keyboardist Scott Sanders and our guest vocalist Michele Harmon who will be getting married August 30, and are making plans to move into their New Home. The rest of the band will be doing the much needed Vacation and R & R thing with their family and friends. Again Congratulations to Scott and Michele our Best Wishes go with you. News Update: After a some what fast paced Spring and Summer Itinerary meZmer will slow the pace just a bit in July and August in order to concentrate on learning some new material along with recording some MP3's and song samples for the Website and Demo purposes, a replay of last Summer when we recorded several songs and soon after Norm and Kibby Batchelder left the band and due to the membership changes, meZmer did not feel it was right to release the MP3's at that time. however over the last year Scott Sanders has upgraded his recording and computer equipment and has informed me These will be the best meZmer recordings to date. And that's what it was..Damn, what a night... Wilson Park Reminder: The bands performing at Wilson's Park, on Saturday, June 28, 2003 will be, Code Zero, meZmer, and Alias. with Code Zero starting at 6:30. The Gates Open At 1:00 on Saturday. come early bring your Blankets, Lawn Chairs and Tents. Walk around the park and check out the various vendors and just enjoy a day and night of Fun, Bar-B-Que, Celebration and Music. Wilson Park Update: Thanks to Jerry and Steve Turner along with several others the rebuilding of the stage at Wilson's Park is almost completed in preparation for the Celebration of Life concert June 28, 2003. and for all you FBI, CIA, KGB and SOG types; you can check it out here! also I have been informed by The Code Zero compound that Brent Knight has re-joined their lineup on Drums with Steve Scott moving back to Harp and Vocals. Big Muddy Summary: Well to all of the people who didn't make it up to Stump Island in Glassgow, Mo. last weekend for the 2nd Cooperative, 3rd Annual, (sort of) Big Muddy Poker Run, Bike Show & Rodeo all I can say is you missed One Hell Of A Good Time Classic Rock Radio POWER 97 out of Sedalia, Mo ran Remote Live Broadcasts all day long which included interviews with meZmer band members, We spent the day meeting Great People, looking at Great Bikes and enjoying a Great Bike Rodeo with one accident (a broken finger occured when two contestants grabbed the same Dress) now if you can't figure that one out you better plan to attend The Big Muddy next year!! Other Highlites of the event included meeting Jerry Beck, Democratic Candidate
for President of the U.S. in 2004, Music on the small stage by "Hand of Doom" and
solo performer Mickie Curry. Mix all this with Crazy Carl's Bar-BQ and a Beer Garden.
Mezmer took the Main Stage from 9:00-1:00 a.m. but paused the show half way to help Larry
Bushnell host The Miss Muddy Contest, after the Contest Larry (also a guitarist 25yrs+) joined meZmer
onstage for a version of Bob Segers "Old Time Rock and Roll" Again a Special Thanks goes out to Larry Bushnell and all the Members of FORR Locals 39 & 12 for all their help!

Steve and his dad, Jerry Rock, Dikki, his wife, Vicki and step son, Zach, got together for a few hours and started getting the stage and grounds in shape. Make your plans now to attend this event early..There will be bar-b-qued food, snacks, horseshoe pitching, maybe a horseshoe tournament also, volleyball, badmitton, and as always FREE camping.
